Rioja is well known to us in the UK as a wine producing area of Spain, but it is equally famous for its gastronomy and regional produce. Conservas Rajope is a family run business that started in the 1980s and focuses mostly on drying and preserving the fruits and vegetables of the region.
These guindillas are pickled and then stored in sunfllower oil giving them a rich and luxurious feel. A little bit of heat and a little hit of vinegar make these a very more-ish snack.
