Sugarcane is hardly gown in any partys of Europe, as most exotic farmers spend their time on other specialties. The only place in Europe where sugarcane can be grown is the Axarquía in Malaga and the Costa Tropical in Granada.
Sugarcane molasses is usually known in Málaga and Granada as sugarcane honey because of its taste and texture, this is despite no bees!
In Spain this honey would always represent a grandmothers cupboard. It can be serves with a variety of cheeses, citric fruits, natural yoghurt and many other briliant food pairings.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
