Spain grows more than twice as many olives as the next largest glbal producer and processes then into olive oil and table olives. There are a huge number of olive varieties amongst which are some of the most popular table varieties including Manzanilla, Verdial and Picual.
These Gordal olives are green, crisp and fleshy, they are juicy but not bitter and have said to have a slight citrus taste. They're the perfect pairing for most foods, especially manchego.
