Dantza is a canned vegetable company based in the Ebro Valley and works with local farmers and the AN co-operative to maintain a high quality product.
Navarra is famous for producing some of Spain's finest vegetables, most notably the Pimientos del Piquillo. These small red peppers have a distinctive shape and have their origins in the mild chillies brought back from the Americas by the "Conquistadores". Hand roasted and then preserved in tins or jars, the piquillo pepper is a brilliant addition to any larder.
The most prized peppers are grown in the town of Lodosa which grows the top quality peppers in the region. These whole peppers can be used in salads, cooked dishes or enjoyed simply with some garlic and olive oil.
