The Arzuaga winery is right in the heart of Ribera del Duero country, with the familiy's vineyard situated in Valladolid, in the area known as the Golden Mile. The Arzuaga family bought the La Planta estate in 1990 and own a combination of old vines (over 20 years) with some young vines which add freshness to some of the blends.
This red is a wonderful example of a Ribera del Duero wine, packed with black fruit and hints of smoke and toasted wood. A perfect wine to match with game or rich earthy stews.
