A seriously bold wine with distinct structure and acidity. Oaky notes of vanilla and tobacco with black cherry and ripe fruits.
The region of Alicante has produced wine for 7,000 years, with archaeologists discovering evidence of ancient Roman amphora in the area. Bodegas Volver was founded in 2004 by Rafael Canizares, a fourth generation vine grower who wished to rediscover, celebrate and preserve heritage varieties of Spanish wines and recover old indigenous vineyards.
