Milk Chocolate Mendiants from near the French border. They are disks or artisan chocolates studded with nuts to represent monastic orders. Manuel Lopez's original confiteria was established in 1927. After he died his widow took over and quickly gained fame for the care and attention she took over her creations. Time has passed but the same care and attention is used.
