Spain is home to an incredible variety of cuisines, reflecting the diversity, climates, histories and traditions of the regions. Spices in Spain were introduced from trade, the Moors and of course Spain's empire that stretched the globe at its height. It produces the worlds best saffron in "La Mancha" and superb smoked paprika from "La Vera". Rice was introduced by the Moors and is quintessential to many spanish dishes. Our Bomba is grown in the Valencia (home of paella) in the national park "la Albufera", this iconic rice variety is perfect for Spanish rice dishes, expanding by up to 10 times during the cooking process including Paella.
